One Tribe TV is a television production company with offices in Bath and Cardiff, run by award-winning programme makers, Managing Director, Dale Templar and Creative Director, Owen Gay.

In addition to our core team, One Tribe has the flexibility to build bespoke production teams to match the needs of the broadcaster and the production. Wales and the West Country has a world-class pool of top broadcasting professionals covering all aspects of production, whilst we also attract talent from London and further afield.

Dale and Owen were both senior producers at the BBC for more 20 years and have also worked for range of top independent production companies including: Betty, Icon Films, Nutopia and Boundless.

Dale Templar is probably the country’s most experienced producer of expedition, adventure and remote foreign filming for documentary, popular factual and factual entertainment programmes. She is also known for producing first-class specialist factual content, particularly natural history and science series. She’s used to running large teams and complex multi-camera set-ups.

Owen Gay has produced hundreds of hours of popular and specialist factual ncluding many high volume popular factual series for both the UK and American broadcasters. He is a hands-on creative who works in detail on every stage of a production. Before leaving the BBC he was the Commissioning Editor for The One Show, then Head of Popular Factual at Icon Films in Bristol.

Together the One Tribe TV senior management team has worked with some of the most famous names in British television, making prime-time factual programmes for BBC1, BBC2, BBC4, ITV, Channel 4, Five and international broadcasters including Netflix, Nat Geo, Animal Planet, Discovery and in China, CCTV and TenCent.
