One Tribe TV are delighted to announce a new commission for the BBC with Richard Parks. A 1-hour special for BBC Wales and BBC 4 to be delivered early this Autumn.
Dale Templar and Richard became firm friends while making 4 x 60” ‘Xtreme Endurance : Race to the Pole’ for Channel Five which took them to Antarctica , Peru, Wales and Nepal.
At the end of the month One Tribe TV will join former Welsh international rugby Richard , on his ground breaking expedition to summit Everest without oxygen – while being used to new research into dementia” Owen Gay creative director and executive producer of the film says : “This production is just perfect for One Tribe TV, a real passion project for everyone involved, combining a very challenging expedition with important scientific content .”
Dale reports from Nepal on a trekking industry hit by cancellations after the 2015 earthquake. In the Annapurna foothills she finds the trails and the infrastructure intact and the welcome warm. Nepal is very much open for business.
