Transmission of 'Bear Grylls Wild Weekends' receiving top ratings for Channel Four over Christmas and New Year. Dale Templar from One Tribe TV worked with Dragonfly Productions who produced the series.


November 2011

Dale spoke at this year's Kendal Mountain Film Festival with a talk entitled 'Life in Thin Air'. Dale revealed the many challenges of filming at extreme altitude while making Human Planet, giving a behind the scenes insight into using camera equipment - filming inside volcanoes - setting up complex rope rigs on exposed cliffs and up trees in the jungle. The talk sold out and was very well received - a big thanks to everyone that came along!

Dale was also invited to be on the panel of industry judges, picking the best short film made by students at the Adventure Film Academy that is closely linked to the festival. One Tribe TV will be working with the academy next year.


October 2011

Dale Templar spoke about Human Planet at the 'Festival of Photography - People and Cultures Day' - run by Travel Photographer of the Year at London's Royal Geographical Society.
