Commission accomplished!

By | Uncategorised | No Comments

We’re pleased to announced our hard work has been rewarded, all the research for Civilisations has resulted in us getting a commission. Our first for InsideOut West, and I’m sure not the last. We’ve got to start the really hard work organising the shoot and locations, and narrowing down our presenter and contributor options.

We’re looking at the lasting impact of the slave trade in our area, a contentious subject full of surprising information and people still passionate about the darkest parts of our rich cultural heritage.

We’re not letting the occasion pass us by, celebrations are in full swing. *pops Champagne*

Season’s Meetings

By | Uncategorised | No Comments

There have been a lot of meetings this week discussing a multitude of different pitches we have up for commission, things are looking promising¬†although nothing is confirmed just yet. There is good news in the office however, after a lot of deliberation there have been some well deserved promotions in the One Tribe TV office, starting in the new year 3 members of the team will be taking on new challenges and pushing their limits. We’re pleased to announce that Kate will become an Assistant Producer,¬†and our two runners Lewis and Cameron will become Junior Researchers. There’s no doubt that they’ll all do great, for now though it’s time to celebrate.

We’ve cleaned off the mud from Extreme Wales, and put on our best clothes for a festive night in the Roman Baths. Friday saw the team celebrate in style as we enjoyed a black tie dinner and drinks event in the heart of our home town. We danced the night away with our usual style and finesse, and although some of us woke up with sore heads; we all had a fantastic night.
