Lauren García-Thompson

Offline Editor & Corporate Producer

Lauren graduated from Bath Spa University in 2012 with a degree in Performing Arts and Recorded Media. She then worked for BBC Tours at BBC Broadcasting House in Bristol, and also as a Runner for Films@59, where her one of her main highlights was meeting Sir David Attenborough and bringing him a cheese sandwich.  

 

Lauren joined One Tribe TV in 2018 as a Runner and quickly progressed into the role of Edit Assistant, and now Editor. Her most recent One Tribe credits include Sex & Sensibility for Sky History and BBC Wales' Legends of Welsh Sport: Norton’s Coin (Celtic Media Award nominated).

 

As well as spending time in the edit, Lauren also works as our Client and Project Manager for One Tribe Media, the corporate and commercial arm of the company. Producing broadcast quality corporate productions for local organisations, businesses, and charities including: NHS, The Thalidomide Society, Thekla Bristol, International Schools Partnership, Gympanzees UK, and more.
