Anne Ashworth is the Property and Personal Finance Editor of The Times. She is an award-winning columnist and highly regarded commentator on topics ranging from house prices and property trends to mortgage rates and investments. Anne has been a frequent contributor to TV and Radio programmes such as This Morning, LBC and BBC Radio London, and, more broadly, regularly reviews the papers for the BBC News Channel. She is known for her light touch and ability to get across clear points without resorting to jargon. At The Times, she edits two award-winning sections, Bricks & Mortar and Times Money, and writes news and features on the housing market, mortgages, pensions, investment and interiors. Anne regularly takes part in the podcast for RedBox, the paper’s political email bulletin. Anne regularly reviews the newspapers for the BBC news channel on its two live evening shows, her radio work includes newspaper reviews on the Vanessa Feltz show on BBC Radio London and personal finance and property coverage on the Andrew Castle show on LBC.
